Mahmood Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Tourism Development Authority recently inaugurated the exhibition, which aims to support local and international artists, create artistic exchanges between Ajman and the world, and enhance Ajman’s status as a cultural hub that fosters artistic innovation.
This exhibition is an extension of the cultural and artistic events organized by the Ajman Cultural Office under the banner of Ajman Tourism, focusing on portraying Ajman as an important art and cultural destination and promoting Supporting artists to build sustainable partnerships with artist and corporate stakeholders.
The Ajman Cultural Office aims to continue supporting the art initiatives it launched last year, such as the Ajman Art Touring Exhibition in collaboration with strategic stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
This year, the Ajman Tourism Development Department has targeted hotels and beach resorts, including Ajman Hotel, Fairmont Ajman Hotel, Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah and Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman, among which The exhibition will display the masterpieces and exhibits of 20 artists from different countries and different art schools.
“Ajman Art Travel Fair is a unique interactive platform that helps young talents showcase their creative work and showcase their artistic potential to everyone. Art is a valuable asset and has the full support of our wise leadership, as well as their Continuous efforts are being made to improve the arts scene in the UAE in order to transform our country into a cultural destination that supports creativity and serves as a free forum for talent,” said Alhashmi.
