Chris Hemsworth found discussing his own death an “intense” experience.
The 39-year-old actor explores death in his new documentary series “The Infinity of Chris Hemsworth”, and the film star remembers it as a “profound” experience.
Speaking about the series, Chris told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “They all had different challenges and different things, and I found them either excruciatingly painful or faced in different ways, but at the end of the day, it was a time Amazing experience.
“Probably ice swimming was the most tiring and the most painful, but the episode about death and facing it — called the ‘accepting’ episode — was intense and profound for a lot of reasons.”
Earlier this month, Chris revealed that he is genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s disease.
Medical experts told the actor he was “eight to ten times more likely” to develop the disease than the general population.
“It’s not a pre-determined gene, but it’s a strong sign. Ten years ago, I think it was considered more definitive,” he explained.
Chris admits the health warning has disturbed him.
The Hollywood star shared: “Yeah, there’s a lot of intensity in navigating it. Most of us like to avoid talking about death and wish we could somehow avoid it. We all believe we’ll work it out.
“Then suddenly being told that some important indicators actually point to this route going to happen, the reality of it sinks in. Your own mortality.”
Chris also plans to discuss his health concerns with the children.
The actor – who has India, twins Sasha and Tristan, aged 10 and 8, and Elsa Pataky – said: “One day I will bring it up.
