David Bowie’s son slams Donald Trump for using his father’s music | Entertainment

David Bowie’s son has slammed Donald Trump for using his father’s music at his political rallies.

The former US president recently announced his third term in the White House, and outspoken Trump critic Duncan Jones expressed disappointment at his father’s music being played at Trump rallies.

The 51-year-old film director – who has previously tried to stop Trump from using his father’s records, including his hit “Hero” – said: “Pretty sure he’s doing it now just to end me.”

However, Duncan also admits there is little he can do about it.

“I’ve been told there’s nothing we can do about it,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk has put Trump’s possible return to Twitter to a public vote.

The 51-year-old businessman, who recently acquired the Weibo platform for $44 billion, has now revealed that the former US president may return to Twitter after being suspended in 2021.

Above the voting buttons, Elon wrote: “Restore former President Trump (sic)”

The Tesla boss appended a Latin phrase that means “the voice of the people is the voice of God” after his original tweet.

Elon later added: “Trump polls get about a million votes an hour! (sic)”

The billionaire recently approved the decision to reactivate the Twitter accounts of Kathy Griffin and Jordan Peterson.

However, he claimed at the time that “Trump’s decision has not been made.”

Trump, 76, was suspended after the January 2021 attack on the Capitol in Washington.

The microblogging platform explained that the account was suspended due to “the risk of further incitement to violence”.

Twitter said in a statement: “After carefully reviewing recent tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and their context – specifically how they were received and interpreted on and off Twitter – we have permanently suspended the account, Because there is a risk of further incitement to violence.”
