SEOUL, Nov. 24 (UPI) — Kim Yoo YoungNorth Korean leader’s powerful sister Kim Jong Unlashed out at South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and his government on Thursday, calling them “idiots” and America’s “faithful dog”, while warning that Seoul had become a “target”.

Kim Jong-un made the remarks referring to Seoul’s foreign ministry saying earlier this week that it would consider additional sanctions for North Korea’s provocative actions, including the recent intercontinental ballistic missile test.

“As soon as the U.S. talks about ‘independent sanctions’ on North Korea, [S]South Korea parroted what the former said,” Kim Jong-un said in a statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency. “This disgusting behavior shows more clearly that [S]The Korean bloc is America’s ‘loyal dog’ and lackey”

North Korea has long claimed the joint drills are preparations for an invasion.

“I wonder why [S]The Korean people are still passively watching this behavior by Yoon Suk Yeol and other ‘governments’ who continue to create a dangerous situation,” Kim said.

“In any case, Seoul is not our target, at least in [former President] Wen Zai in power,” she added.

The Moon administration’s focus on engaging with North Korea led to a period of diplomatic rapprochement before negotiations stalled after Kim Jong-un’s summit with the then-U.S. president in February 2019 donald trump It’s over without a deal.

North Korea has conducted a record number of missile launches this year, and officials in Seoul and Washington have assessed that the secretive regime has completed preparations for a nuclear weapons test.
