UAE President receives Jordanian King at Al Batin Airport – News

Leaders discussed relationships and ways to further expand cooperation and collaboration

His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan arrived in the UAE on Thursday for a state visit.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received him on his arrival at Al Batin Airport.

The two leaders then held talks to discuss the strong relationship between the two countries and ways to further expand cooperation and collaboration.

Sheikh Mohammed extended his best wishes to His Majesty the King and the people of Jordan. The two leaders reviewed existing areas of partnership and explored opportunities to further develop the relationship, particularly in the areas of development and economics.

Also present at the airport to welcome the King of Jordan were Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Adviser to the Presidential Court Department.

The Jordanian delegation included Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan, and Dr. Jafar Hassan, Chief of His Majesty’s Office.
