Martins tops F2 Abu Dhabi ART playoff test

The reigning F3 champion clocked a 1m 35.908s lap at the Yas Marina Circuit in Friday morning’s race, the fastest of the three days of testing.

Doohan was fastest on day two, with the 2022 sixth-place finisher topping the timetable with a time of 1m 35.990s in the morning session.

His best lap was faster than the pole lap Iwasaho 1m36.290s on the final race weekend of the season.

The afternoon session focused on long-distance running pace, with Vesti setting the fastest time of 1 minute 36.462 seconds ahead of Iwasa and Bearman.

The only stoppage came after Doohan and Maini made contact at Turn 9.

3rd day

Martins topped the final day of testing, topping all three-day timetables in the morning session with a time of 1:35.908.

The 2022 Formula 3 champion, Test ART, is less than 0.1 seconds ahead of Doohan and Pourchaire.

The only stoppage in the morning was caused by Bearman, who hit the barrier at Turn 3.
