“It was another great experience driving a Formula 1 car today and I am very grateful to Alpine for giving me this opportunity,” Douhan said. “It’s been a busy day with lots of laps and a lot of new stuff to pick up and I’m really happy with how it went.
“Free practice 1 last weekend was only an hour, so spending the whole day in the car is very useful because you can get a lot done in a less stressful environment.
“Thank you Alpine for a fantastic year and I’m excited to continue working hard next season.”
