United Arab Emirates (UAE) A new guide has been issued for passengers from India. According to the new regulations, passengers can undergo a rapid PCR test six hours before departure instead of the current four hours.

Etihad Airways announced, “If you are a national of India and hold a visa or residence permit issued by the United States, the United Kingdom or EU member states, you can visit Abu Dhabi. ICA approval is not required. Vaccination is not a condition of entry. But you need to show your testing status to enter public places.”

The official notice read: “According to the UAE’s entry requirements, each passenger will be subjected to rapid PCR testing at their respective Indian departure airports.”

After arriving at Abu Dhabi Airport, passengers need to be quarantined for 10 days and need to wear a medically approved wristband, which will be provided by the airport authorities after immigration procedures. Then, on the ninth day of isolation, they must undergo a PCR test.
