New Delhi [India]Nov 28 (ANI): French Armed Forces Minister Sebastien Le Cornou began his visit in Delhi by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial on Monday.
Emmanuel Lenain, French envoy to India, tweeted: “As he begins his visit to #Delhi, French Armed Forces Minister @SebLecornu lays a wreath at #NationalWarMemorial and pays tribute to India’s brave soldiers.”
During his visit to India, Rajnath Singh will co-chair the 4th annual India-France Defense Dialogue with the Minister of Armed Forces of the French Republic.
Lecornu will today inspect the guard of honor of the three services in the presence of his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh.
The French minister will also meet Foreign Minister Jaishankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, according to a Defense Ministry statement. This is Mr Sebastien Le Cornou’s first visit to India as Minister of the French Armed Forces.
