[ad_1]

The last long weekend of the year is the perfect time to take a road trip. The weather couldn’t have been better for the four-day holiday of UAE National Day!

According to the official weather forecast issued by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), temperatures will drop over the next two days.

Temperatures in parts of the country have dropped to lows of just over 11°C. Raknah in Al Ain recorded 11.3°C on Tuesday morning. According to the NCM forecast, the weather will get colder.

The NCM is forecasting partly cloudy Thursday, with possible fog or mist forming in some interior areas. Low clouds will be seen over the islands and some coastal and eastern areas on Friday. Saturday will be clearer but will continue to be cloudy at times.

Maximum temperatures will remain below 30°C in most areas, with temperatures in the 13 – 23°C range in the mountains.

Staycations continue to be popular with residents during the UAE National Day holiday, with dnata saying beach stays are in vogue in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. Hotel prices in the country have soared due to the influx of FIFA World Cup fans.

Hoteliers in Dubai reported 100% occupancy.

Search the web for beach-facing four- and five-star hotel prices in the UAE during the National Day holidays and prices start from AED 1,500 for two adults for three nights. Prices for high-end properties go all the way up to Dh30,000. According to booking.com, the best rated hotels start from around AED 4,000.
