The Sharjah Museum Authority (SMA) has announced free entry to its museums to celebrate the UAE’s 51st National Day and Remembrance Day on 1-2 December.
In addition, the SMA will host a series of entertaining and educational activities for the public of all ages.
Celebrations in Arabic and English will take place on 2 December at Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn), Sharjah Maritime Museum and Hisn Khor Fakkan.
The fun-filled activities include traditional games and competitions, a food corner, folklore shows and sea cruises.
On 2 December, events at the Sharjah Maritime Museum will begin with a sea parade at 14:30, followed by a series of events between 16:30 and 22:00, including workshops, traditional Emirati games and a drum band performance.
Additionally, events at Hisn Khor Fakkan from 16:30 to 21:00 and Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn) from 16:30 to 20:00 offer visitors a taste of henna designs, photo booths and Emirati traditions.
