The Emirates team has changed its jersey supplier and launched a new jersey designed for 2023 by the Italian brand Pissei.
For the past two seasons, the UAE-backed team has used race kit made by Gobik, with the Spanish brand replacing Champion System, which supplied the team from 2017 to 2020.
Founded in Tuscany in 1978, Pissei will make its World Tour debut in 2023. The overall design follows the familiar pattern of previous years.
The team is home to the two-time Tour de France winners Tad Pogacharwith jersey and shorts to be chosen according to the weather, Pissei has developed a new bespoke suit in ultra-light and breathable fabric for the hottest conditions.
Another kit is described as a “warmer option,” with both options available in bodysuit versions for timekeeping.
At the recent pre-season rally in Abu Dhabi, the team’s drivers tailored the new thread.
“We are delighted to start this partnership with Pissei. Modern cycling apparel is constantly evolving and improving, and Pissei is an innovative company at the forefront of this advancement,” said Team CEO Mauro Gianetti.
“Their attention to detail, researching new textiles and looking for the best combination of comfort and aerodynamics makes them a perfect fit for the Emirates team.
“We look forward to working with them in the years to come and savoring many victories in the Pissei name.”

Pissei’s first offering didn’t make a splash, with only minor changes to designs from the past two seasons. The jersey is still white with the Emirates, Emirates, Whoosh, Colnago and Adnoc logos in the center.
The main change comes on the sleeves, which are back to all black for 2017 and 2018 after white in 2019 and 2020 and red flashes the past two years. There’s also a new black stripe on the back that covers the center pocket.
A slight variation of the UAE flag that appears below the Emirates logo instead of the Emirates logo. Elsewhere, the G42 logo has been changed to turquoise.
As for Pissei, its logo appears on the right chest and a heart-shaped logo, while the motto “Compete with your heart” is printed on the inside of the collar.
