Daimler Trucks AG announces that its regional subsidiary Daimler Commercial Vehicles Middle East and North Africa (DCV MENA) has agreed a strategy with global logistics provider DHL Global Forwarding for the operation and management of its Daimler Trucks Dubai Parts Center Sexual long-term partnership.
The deal was signed in collaboration with DHL Global Forwarding and Danzas AEI Emirates, a joint venture of the Al Tayer Group.
The facility, scheduled to begin operations next month, has a dedicated 5,000 square meter area that includes a multi-level mezzanine location, very narrow aisle (VNA), selective aisle, and an open operations and bulk storage area.
The facility also has closed storage rooms for comprehensive hazardous materials storage of Class 2, 3, 4 items and electric vehicle batteries. Taking shape within Dubai World Central in South Dubai, it further establishes Daimler Trucks as the an independent organization.
Daimler Trucks, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles, said the state-of-the-art facility will serve as a dedicated warehouse for truck parts, enabling DCV Mena to better serve Mercedes-Benz truck customers in the Middle East Provides service offering extensive and reliable parts availability and short turnaround times.
Its flagship Mercedes-Benz trucks are engineered to burn fuel cleanly, run economically and boast advanced safety features to support and protect drivers and other road users.
These trucks and original parts supplied by Daimler Truck AG are widely used by various regional customers in order to generate income and conduct business sustainably.
However, a commercial vehicle can only generate revenue for the owner or operator when it is on the road. The launch of the Daimler Trucks Dubai Parts Center ensures customers can easily source a wide range of parts in the shortest possible time and keep their trucks on the road for longer.
The new warehouse will be equipped with a dedicated supply chain and logistics team focused on customer needs in the Middle East, taking over the responsibilities of the Mercedes-Benz Regional Logistics Center in Dubai.
The new center will feature 24 loading doors for light to heavy trucks, 15 meter high ceilings and offer a maximum storage height of 13 meters.
In addition to this, it also has a variety of safety features, including an advanced fire alarm system and sprinkler system, and is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 certified.

The Daimler Trucks Dubai Parts Center is part of the region’s first electric vehicle and battery logistics center, built by DHL Global Forwarding and developed in close cooperation with the EV (Electric Vehicle) team at DHL Customer Solutions & Innovations – perfect Positioned for the future, he said, will see an increased reliance on battery-based electric vehicles.
He added that the facility provides easy access to Dubai World Central Airport and Jebel Ali Port and will ensure that regional customers of Mercedes-Benz Trucks are able to service their vehicles in the shortest possible time.
