This new sustainability challenge builds on e&’s public call to reduce carbon emissions from operations, announced at the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) in Egypt to achieve net zero by 2030 And accelerate efforts to contribute to the global climate by prioritizing energy efficiency and renewable energy supply, focusing on key initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint.
Technical Solution Talents
Through the FutureNow Sustainability Call, e& strives to capitalize on the ambition of global expansion and tap the technical solutions talent in the market to develop cutting-edge sustainable solutions and reduce the dependence of mobile sites on the national grid.
In order to be eligible for the challenge, proposals for scale-up must submit their proposals, including solutions for green energy monitoring and management, and considering the application of innovative technology concepts to contribute to emission reductions at more than 11,500 mobile network sites in the UAE.
The resulting merchandising solution should be suitable for implementation in e&OPCO across multiple countries and mobile networks. Scale-ups interested in participating must submit an application through futurenow.ae by January 31, 2023, and if selected, they will participate in a 9-12 week program to work with experts at e& to become partners and launch a sustainable Innovative market solutions.
