The former “Cosby Show” actress – who already has five-year-old daughter Ella with ex-partner Egerton Hartwell – is expecting her first child with husband Brad James, who gave birth on Thursday (12/1/22) revealed.

Keshia, 43, shared her and her husband’s boomerang, showing off her bump in a purple and red fitted sweater dress ahead of her appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show.”

She captioned her post: “Oh baby baby!! Little James 2023 is coming!! [love emojis] (sic)”

Keshia later explained that due to her previous miscarriage, she and Brad decided to wait to announce their news publicly, but it “felt so good” to finally share.

She told Tamron: “It’s not that I’ve been trying to hide it, but when you have a miscarriage, when you go through this journey, you just want to enjoy the moment and want to make sure everything is okay,” she told Hall, And adding that she “felt good” that their secret was finally revealed.

The “Noel New Orleans” star said her daughter is “thrilled to be a big sister” and “talks to the baby a lot,” but she’s also anxious because she’s “on this journey too.”

Keshia recalled Ella asking: “Mommy, is the baby going to live with us this time? Will it stay?”

She said the youngster was “delighted” to know “everything went well” with her pregnancy.

The actress, who married Brad in September 2021, recently spoke about how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted her plans to have another child.

She said: “I was 41 and knew I wanted another child, but I know not now.

“I started freezing my eggs and then literally the day I was supposed to start taking my meds, they shut down all elective medical procedures because of the pandemic. So, I couldn’t continue.

“I think a lot of people don’t realize that with the world shutting down in the pandemic, it’s not only affecting your ability to go to the mall, it’s affecting your ability to go to sporting events the way you want, but it’s definitely affecting from a medical standpoint. many people.

“People can’t get mammograms and cancer surgery [which] Very necessary.

“It’s crazy that reproductive rights and fertility are considered optional. It shouldn’t be. It should be a choice for all women.”
