Artists will create a 51m-long painting to spread the message of sustainable development during the two-day event in Abu Dhabi as part of UAE National Day
Abu Dhabi will see artists from more than 60 countries unite to celebrate UAE National Day. Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdul Rahman Al Moalla and the Embassy of India, Artscrafts will be organizing an event called “Ehtifal Al Emarat” at the Abu Dhabi Theater in Abu Dhabi on December 3rd. “Activity 4.
The festival is a combination of different artistic styles from around the world and will be open to the public. The event also features live art experiences, panel discussions and a variety of cultural programming to celebrate unity, solidarity and sustainability.
The main highlight of “Ehtifal Al Emarat” is the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest number of ethnic groups in an art class to be held on Saturday. Well-known artists from various countries will also join hands to create a 51-meter-long painting to spread the message of sustainable development to the world.
Organizers say the panel discussion to be held on Sunday is a great opportunity to interact with experts from different fields who will connect art, nature and life at every level. The event will also help students, artists and art lovers connect with some of the best artists from around the world.
The event is organized jointly with the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency.
Artscrafts founder Anil Kejriwal said members associated with the organization have been working tirelessly over the past month to make it the best arts festival in the UAE.
