Civil Defense, firefighters arrived at the scene within 6 minutes
A fire at a timber warehouse in Ras Al Khor 2, Dubai, has been extinguished. There were no reports of casualties in the incident reported at 3.15pm.
The Dubai Media Office said the thick smoke rising from the area was due to the flammability of the material.
According to Dubai Civil Defence, firefighters were on the scene within six minutes of receiving the report. Due to the high intensity of the fire, civil defense personnel in three centers fought the fire.
The fire was brought under control by 4.30pm. The scene has been handed over to relevant departments for further investigation.
