DXB named the 7th best airport for connecting in the world

According to ParkSleepFly.com, the leader in online park-and-stay hotel packages, Dubai International Airport (DXB) has been named the seventh best airport for layovers in the world based on food, hygiene, service, customer satisfaction, shopping and hotel availability.

DXB scores over 3 out of 5 for amenities. There are 87 hotels to choose from within a 2 mile radius.

Meanwhile, Turkey’s Istanbul Airport ranks third among the best airports to enjoy a stopover, with an amenity score consistently above 4.00/5. Istanbul Airport offers 87 hotels within a 2 mile radius and its luxury plaza offers a wide range of world famous luxury and designer products.

Japan’s Tokyo Haneda Airport has been voted the best airport in the world for a stopover. It has an excellent 4.59/5 hygiene rating and goes well with a wide variety of food and drink. Service and shopping options are also great, with several designer boutiques including Burberry, Chanel and Hermès. There are also 31 hotels within 2 miles of the airport.

The runner-up was Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. This airport offers great facilities, with 4.5/5 each for shopping and staff service. The airport also has a customer satisfaction rating of 6.00/10, which is very high for a busy airport. – trade arab news agency
