United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi: The UAE Space Agency and Bayanat A partnership agreement was signed to develop and operate a geospatial analytics platform for space data centers, one of the transformational projects announced by the UAE government.
Under the agreement, Bayanat, a pioneer in AI-based geospatial solutions, will create an innovative ecosystem for Earth observation applications by leveraging the capabilities of large-scale data management and processing, and creating analytical reports based on Earth observation satellites.
HE Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the UAE Space Agency, and Hasan Al Hosani, CEO of Bayanat, signed the cooperation agreement in the presence of a number of officials and employees from both parties.
Empowering the space services sector
HE Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and UAE Chairman space agencySay: “At the UAE Space Agency, we are passionate about promoting the peaceful uses of space and deploying big data, data science and space technologies in the service of humanity to address sustainability challenges and find practical solutions to overcome them.”
