Joss Stone feels ‘very, very grateful’ to be alive
The 35-year-old singer gave birth to her son Shackleton via emergency C-section in October and Joss was relieved after a 30-hour labor.
The blond beauty – who also has 21-month-old Violet, and Cody DaLuz – shared: “You know, it’s good to be alive. It really is. I’m very, very grateful.”
Joss admitted “everything went wrong” during her labor and the “You Got Me” hit thanked doctors for keeping her alive.
She told “Entertainment Tonight”: “You know, all of us moms have our best stories, many of us have war stories about being born. I hope not to be one of them.
“I wanted to say, ‘Oh, your four-hour labor was awesome. Then I sneezed and he fell over.’ But no, that’s not what happened. But here I am, when it all went out 15 doctors swarmed in when I had a question. They saved my life and my baby’s life. I really think they are angels”
Joss recently revealed that she hopes to have more children.
She explained: “I’m definitely going to have another baby and the doctor said I could have another one, but I definitely can’t because my uterus has ruptured.”
The singer is now open to the idea of adopting children, adding that she wants “as many children as possible [she] were able”.
Joss said: “I’ve always wanted to adopt, and Cody was adopted, so he wanted to adopt too. We’ll see, but I want as many kids as possible.”
