The UAE Space Agency and Amazon Web Services (AWS) signed a statement of strategic intent and cooperation. The agreement aims to support the development of the UAE’s space sector.
The Space Industry Development Program, the Space Talent Program, and the Open Data Sponsorship Program are three initiatives in which AWS will collaborate with the UAE Space Agency and other relevant UAE government space organizations and agencies.
The Space Industry Development Program places equal emphasis on promoting an environment friendly to new entrants (such as space startups) and the expansion of existing commercial space organizations.
With the help of the program, they will have access to the AWS Activate and AWS Founders programs, both designed to provide entrepreneurs with AWS credits, technical training and business support.
