Deutsche Hospitality, Germany’s leading hotel management group, has announced the opening of three first-class hotels in the Middle East in the past three months.

This brings the group’s total operating portfolio to 26 properties and three Steigenberger Nile cruise ships, spanning the UAE, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt.

New hotel openings include IntercityHotel Muscat, Steigenberger Residence Doha and Al Hamra Village Hotel, representing an additional 770 operational keys. In the past 12 months, Deutsche Hospitality has doubled the number of rooms in its regional portfolio to over 1,531 rooms in the Middle East.

It further built on its strong presence in Dubai, expanding its team hub in regional offices and appointing a talented senior leadership team to support the brand’s growth strategy, hotel operations and stakeholders in the Middle East.

Siegfried Nierhaus, Vice President Middle East, Deutsche Hospitality, said: “2022 will be a great and successful year for us. The group launched its 278-room, uniquely furnished serviced apartment, Steigenberger Apartments Doha, in Qatar in November.
