As of now, Spielberg will produce the film with the director’s job vacant, but the insider added that his longtime collaborators Tony Kushner (who will also serve as executive producer) and Danny Strong are working on the film. Sources close to Maddow say that while she’s been busy finding some projects that she can adapt into something she can produce, her development plans have never been about ramping up volume, but instead focusing on producing high-quality material.
