The Order of Knights has been appointed Sunil Narin Captained the Abu Dhabi Knights for the inaugural season of the UAE International League T20, which will be held in the UAE in January. Narine is one of the few players to play for only one team in the Indian Premier League and extending his services to ILT20 means he is now with all three teams in the Knight Riders Group – KKR, ADKR and TKR are connected.
“I’m very happy to be the captain of the Abu Dhabi Knights. It’s a new challenge because now I have to think about the functioning of our entire team instead of just focusing on my game or my four catches. This Is something I’m very much looking forward to. I grew up on Knight Rider and Knight Rider grew on me, so it’s like a family,” Narine said in a press release shared by the Knight Rider group.

“They have teams everywhere and I love being a part of them. I’ve played a lot of cricket in the UAE so I know what’s going on there. If you look at the ADKR squad, it’s a familiar setup and not A brand new XI that I have to get used to. So it gives me a lot of confidence, knowing the strengths of my players. There are also a lot of senior people on the team, and I can feed back ideas and information to them. It will be fun, it’s with the Cavaliers It’s been a long journey for the family, and I hope it’s a journey that never ends.”
at the same time, Colin Munro was named captain of the Desert Vipers, while Moeen Ali will lead the Sharjah Warriors in the inaugural edition of ILT20. The competition will kick off in Dubai on January 13th.
