Chris Redd thinks the attack was a “planned circumstance” | Entertainment

Chris Redd believes his attack was a “planned situation”.

The former “Saturday Night Live” star was shot in the face by a stranger outside the comedy bodega in New York City in October – and the 37-year-old comedian suspects he was wearing “brass knuckles” or ” some metal”.

Appearing on SiriusXM’s “The Bennington Show,” he said: “That’s it. People call it a random attack. I don’t believe it. I watched the footage.

“He waited for me for an hour before I got there. He was on the phone, he had a lookout and everything.

“All I’m going to say is this, I’ve never done anything random and it took me an hour to do it.

“I’ve never done a random thing that requires accumulation. It’s not random. So I would say, it’s a planned situation. That’s how I feel in my heart and soul. That’s what I see in the on video.”

Reade said he would “talk” about it, possibly even “revealing the footage,” and joked that it would actually help his career.

He quipped: “I don’t know what their plans are, if they’re going to take me out because no promotion is better than getting slapped in the fucking face. Man, people don’t even know I have a special…  It has worked wonders for me.”

He claimed that while police were “initially confident” in finding the attacker and “locking him up”, the situation had changed.

He claimed: “Last week he said, ‘I don’t know, man,’. Then I texted him this week and he said shit to me! I got fucked by the police chief.”

Reade was taken to hospital after the unprovoked attack and revealed he suffered two broken noses and a broken cheek.

He previously said: “When I put my phone in my pocket and keep walking [Comedy] Cellar, this guy hit me in the face with metal.

“Whether brass knuckles— [it] Cut my nose to the bone. I have boxed for many years. I’ve been punched in the face before. It’s not scary, but it’s worrisome how much blood is coming out of my face. …

“I had two broken noses and one broken cheek. One punch doesn’t usually do all of that at the same time, so supposedly I was hit by something. The guy hit me and ran away.”
