The EcoWASTE exhibition and forum will explore the GCC’s efforts to achieve a circular economy, highlighting the role of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in making this a reality.

The forum also aims to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships among regional stakeholders and initiate discussions around the best solutions to challenges in the waste management sector.

The GCC currently generates between 10.5 and 130 million tonnes of waste annually, mainly from municipal solid waste, construction and demolition, and agriculture.
