Escallon is now joining Curate as a partner and will lead the firm’s international expansion efforts.
Zipa’s focus on bilingual and bicultural performers, writers and directors working in Latin America, and potentially across other markets, broadens Curate’s value proposition and significantly increases its reach.Its clients include famous creators such as Fernanda Eguiarte, whose show most beautiful flowerco-created with comedian Michelle Rodriguez, premiered on Netflix in early December; Miguel Garcia Moreno, Spanish co-creator of the Netflix series Control Z; Isaac Cherem, Mexican co-writer and director Leonanominated for seven Ariel Awards; Mexican director and writer Lucero Sanchez Novaro was nominated for an Ariel Award for his short film lavender and co-author of the Netflix series everything will get betterdirected by Diego Luna; and Mariana Levy, Argentinian writer and producer on the Amazon show presidentthe show returns for a second season in November.
