Thanking Chief Minister MK Stalin for giving them the opportunity to visit Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, students M. Dasami and K. Veeramani from Sivaganga district said it was an unforgettable experience as they were also accompanied by Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi in the education on a trip.
After taking office at DMK last year, CM is keen to provide strong motivation to students studying in government schools.
A few months earlier, School Education Department officials held a quiz and selected 68 winners (35 boys and 33 girls) for an educational tour.
Five teachers accompanied the students on the tour.
Ms Dasami from Idayamelur Women’s HSS in Sivaganga District and Mr Veeramani from Peerkalaikadu Men’s HSS were the winners representing the district along with other winners from the state.
From November 10th to 13th, the students visited various tourist attractions and other educational places. They added that they were honored to have the Minister of Education with them.
Sivaganga Collector P. Madhusudan Reddy congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the quiz competition and called on education department officials to regularly organize more such events at the district level so that the students could face larger audiences and bigger competitions in the future .
