[ad_1]

This Dubai Airshow, The biggest this year Aerospace Trade Show And a spectacle Business transaction Worth billions of dollars and will be Capacity limit In November, due to the coronavirus pandemic, its organizer Say.

Although few transactions are expected as the industry seeks to retain cash, the show is seen as a psychological boost to airlines and aircraft manufacturers to revive industries that have been hit hard by the health crisis.

Regional conflicts and tensions between the United States and Iran will also heat up.

The Dubai Airshow, scheduled for November 14-18, will be the largest aerospace trade event since the pandemic forced the cancellation of the European exhibitions Farnborough and Le Bourget in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

It attracted thousands of tourists, including aircraft manufacturers, their suppliers, airlines, arms companies and military officials from all over the world. Over the years, it has become an important industry summit as its host, Emirates and other state-owned airlines reshape international travel through its Gulf hub.

Timothy Hawes, managing director of the organizer Tarsus F&E, said that the number of exhibitors who signed up for the exhibition this year was the same as when it was last held in 2019.

In an online interview with Reuters, Hawes said: “We are confident now and the interest is there.”

According to the organizers, the five-day exhibition in 2019 welcomed more than 84,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors.

Hawes said that the distance between the booths this year will be greater than in previous exhibitions to maintain the distance between participants.

He said that the booth and the entire exhibition will also limit the number of visitors that can participate at any time. However, these restrictions belong to the previous level of attendance.

It is expected that wearing masks will be mandatory.

“We are very ready to show it again and bring people together. It’s been a long time since people (not) met face to face,” Hawes said.

He said that it has not yet been decided whether it is limited to people who have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus or those who have recently tested negative for CVOID-19.

“We expect that, as far as the current situation is concerned, there will be an opportunity to hold a performance that will not be too different from previous years.”

After the UAE and Israel established contacts last year, the show will also feature Israeli companies, which has since facilitated many commercial transactions including the aerospace sector.

With a population of approximately 9 million, the UAE has one of the highest COVID-19 vaccination rates in the world. About 2,000 new infections are reported every day, which is lower than the peak of nearly 4,000 cases in February.
