At present, some countries, including India and Pakistan, have banned travel to the UAE.
Tourists need to be fully vaccinated with vaccines approved by the World Health Organization.
Travelers can register for vaccination certificates issued abroad through the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) platform or the AlHosn app.
Here are the 5 steps to do this:
>> Step 1: Before departure, visitors need to register in the “Registration Arrival” section of the ICA mobile application.
>> Step 2: Fill in the “Arrival Registration Form” and upload the vaccination certificate issued abroad. The visitor will then receive a text message that includes a link to download the AlHosn app.
>> Step 3: Upon arrival in the UAE, visitors will receive a Uniform Identification Number (UID) at the airport or through the ICA application or website.
>> Step 4: Visitors need to download and register on the AlHosn app, using the UID and phone number used for ICA registration or PCR testing in the UAE.
>> Step 5: Visitors will receive a one-time password (OTP) to complete the AlHosn app registration process. The Al Hosn app allows users to check status, vaccination information, test results and travel test requirements, and use real-time QR codes.
