actor Nayandra Recently making a public appearance at a preview show of her latest release, connect. Photos and videos of the actors were shared on social media. A video clip of Nayanthara at an event drew a lot of negative comments about her appearance and personal life.Disturbed by uncharacteristic nature of comments, singer Chin Mayi Slammed FilmiFriday on the page for not curating and deleting comments but making critical comments about it private.
Here is the post:
Sharing a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram story, the singer wrote: “Commenting on this post. All perverted. Creepy. Glad @FilmiFirday didn’t edit the comment so we know who’s at risk (sic).” In another Insta story, she wrote: “I wonder – are all these men breastfeeding? I wonder what would happen if these men had daughters (sic).”
Meanwhile, Swati Jagdish, who owns a sex education page, also lashed out at trolls in the comments section of the post. She wrote, “Men here are commenting on Nayantara, her breasts, her husband, their sex life, etc. I feel sorry for the women in your life. Especially your female friends, little cousin, etc.”
Swati, who goes by the Insta username mayas_amma, added, “Mine is a sex education page. I recommend all of you, especially those chickens who use fake IDs, to follow my work so you can have an idea of how to see/ Treat women (etc.) with understanding.”
When Swati’s comments disappeared from the post, Chinmayi again slammed the Instagram page for allowing trolls to remain visible but deleting the sex educator’s comments. Chinmayi wrote, “What I’ve noticed in many of these pages – they remove comments by women criticizing such behavior, but keep the perverted abusive comments (sic).”
However, the page’s administrators contacted Chinmayi to say that Swati’s comments were not deleted but were filtered out along with sexual comments because they shared the same words.
