The first of these is the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy at Jumeirah Lake Towers, Jumeirah Park and Umm Hurair 2 in Oud Metha.
“I’ve lived in the city for almost 13 years and it’s like my home away from home,” said the 36-year-old mother.
“I love it here, the plan has always been to start a tennis academy with professional lessons for juniors.

“We didn’t know each other very well on the team before the game, but we were so excited to spend Christmas together and we all became friends. So it was really cool,” Mirza said on Saturday.
“Anyone who’s been on the tennis circuit knows that tennis is a pretty lonely sport because everyone is so preoccupied with their own goals. So it’s really great to have a tournament like this where we can get to know each other and make some deep connections. friendship.”
Mirza, who reached the mixed doubles semi-finals this year with Croatia’s Pavic at Wimbledon, will next head to the Australian Open for women’s doubles with Russia’s Ana Danielina.
