Two more Pakistani cities added to UAE visa ban list
Karachi (Dunya News) — The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday added two cities to the list of Pakistani cities whose residents are barred from obtaining visit visas.
Adnan Paracha, spokesman for the Pakistan Overseas Employment Association (POEA), said the total has reached 24 after adding two new cities. The UAE authorities took this step as travel agencies across the country help citizens obtain visitor visas under the guise of employment. Authorities also deported the entrants.
Initially, UAE immigration authorities added 12 Pakistani cities to the tourist visa ban list, the list was later expanded to 22 and now two more.
Below is the list of cities whose residents will not be granted a UAE Visit Visa
Punjabi:
Dera Ghazi Khan, Khushab, Muaffargarh, Sargodha, Attock, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Chakwal
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province:
Abbottabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Kurram Agency, Bajaur Agency, Parachinar, Mohmand Agency, Hangu, Kohat
Sindh Province:
Lalkana, Nawab Shah, Sukkur
Balochistan:
Quetta
Federal Territories:
Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan), Hunza (UK), Kotli (Free Jammu and Kashmir)
