Over the past three years, 10,140,892 people have benefited from traffic campaigns carried out by Dubai Police represented by the General Directorate of Transport on social media platforms.

Lieutenant General Al Marri was briefed on a traffic campaign launched last year to raise public awareness of pedestrian safety, the dangers of swerving, life-threatening speeds, the dire consequences of failing to maintain a safe distance, safe driving in school zones and special occasions.

Last year, the publicity and education activities on traffic regulations were continuously carried out, benefiting 147,561 drivers and 68,921 beneficiaries.
Lt Gen Al Marri reviewed last year’s transport agency statistics when 47 people attended 20 lectures on transport essentials.
Meanwhile, 765 people benefited from traffic safety for drivers, and 87 internal and external seminars were held to raise awareness among 1,379 motorists.
In addition, the college also held 52 workshops for the intelligent training center, benefiting 1,415 person-times; and held 16 training sessions for 16 private security companies, benefiting 466 security personnel. —— trade arab news agency
