Dubai Culture opens the door for Al Quoz talents to register for cultural visas – Dubai Blog

In accordance with the instructions of His Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the authority announced that creative entrepreneurs, talents and craftsmen of Al Quoz can now apply for long-term cultural visas for the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved in 2019 to authorize and encourage them to settle in Dubai and provide them with opportunities to flourish and participate in the development process in the region. This is in line with the strategy of the Authority to support and protect the creative talents of citizens and residents, and attract creatives from all fields of art and culture from all over the world to study, live and work in Dubai, and provide them with the most desirable in the world And a rich platform for the development of one of the ambitious destinations.

The Cultural Visa Initiative is one of many initiatives that contribute to the realization of Dubai’s cultural vision, which aims to enhance the cultural and creative economy and create a sustainable society that attracts and accepts the most important Arab and international creative energy and talents. This is achieved by attracting, retaining and empowering writers, artists and creators, which helps to consolidate Dubai’s position as an incubator for creativity and innovators and a preferred destination for cultural talent.

This step is one of the results of the Al Quoz Creative District Committee’s development project. The project is chaired by Her Royal Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, who oversees the implementation of the project and strives to achieve its strategic goal of supporting creative communities and creative industries in the Emirates, providing a groundbreaking Environment and a comprehensive system to develop creative industries. Dubai Culture is working with its strategic partners to provide an integrated environment for the talents of Al Quoz Creative Zone, which will enable them to release their energy and creative work, and consolidate the Emirate’s position as a global competitor in the cultural and creative fields.
