Dubai Chamber launches fintech and payments business group

The Dubai Chamber has launched a new Fintech and Payments business group that aims to bring together companies of all sizes within the Fintech and Payments space. This will encourage collaborative dialogue, advocate for policy changes, and advance the emirate’s position as a highly competitive global business hub.

The launch of the new business group is part of the Chamber’s plan to increase the number of business groups representing economic sectors and activities in Dubai, ensuring that all industries and economic activities are represented to enhance its competitiveness and drive sustainable development in Dubai.

The new FinTech and Payments business group will help support Dubai-based companies and provide members with key insights and analysis on trends across the fintech ecosystem to leverage policy and regulatory change recommendations and benefit from new fintech advancements.

Commenting on the launch of the Business Group, Maha AlGargawi, Executive Director, Business Advocacy, Dubai Chamber, said: “The Business Group plays an important role in creating a supportive, enabling and world-class business environment in Dubai. Through ongoing and transparent discussions, the Business Group will be able to Support important policy changes that will facilitate and improve the ease of doing business in Dubai and strengthen the emirate’s position as a dynamic global business hub.

“The new Fintech and Payments business group is an important addition to our network of business groups and we believe it will play a key role in supporting members and the emirate’s private sector in driving fintech forward and serving as a platform to capitalize on the enormous opportunities in this important sector .”

The FinTech and Payments business group will focus on the highest standards in its approach to delivering financial services and payment solutions to businesses.
