Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (WAM) – The Ministry of Economy has announced that Creative Zone, one of the largest consultancy and business institutions in the UAE, has joined the NextGenFDI program through the Foreign Direct Investment launched in July 2022, which aims to attract advanced digital companies to the UAE market, according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both parties , developing the next generation of startups in the technology space.

The Creative Zone will support the goals of the NextGenFDI program by providing investors and entrepreneurs with innovative solutions that will help them grow in the UAE.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, said:
“The UAE places a high value on entrepreneurship and sees it as a key engine of innovation and creativity as it has the potential to sustainably support the country’s economic growth. Furthermore, it aligns well with the direction of the wise leadership and the ‘50-year’ goals and The goals of the UAE Centenary Plan 2071 are aligned.”
“This agreement further confirms the UAE’s intention to assist and promote start-ups and their growth. Through this programme, the Creative District will support these goals by attracting new start-ups to the UAE and providing a range of business support services, while enhancing their development, capacity to develop and support the digital business environment in the country,” he said.

The Ministry of Economy launched the NextGenFDI program in July 2022 to attract the world’s top digital companies to the UAE by providing market access incentives and benefiting from a broad range of efforts by public and private sector stakeholders.
NextGenFDI includes fast-track business licensing, group visa issuance, fast-track access to banking facilities, and access to education and cloud services and commercial real estate.
