Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 10, 2021: As the aviation industry begins to take off again and travel slowly rises to a suitable height, Emirates’ unique flight EK2021 crosses the UAE to celebrate the government’s vaccination plan and rebuild people’s confidence in air travel. In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, nearly 9 million doses of vaccine have been distributed to citizens and residents here. This special flight carrying nearly 400 fully vaccinated crew members and passengers is a unique way to commemorate this huge milestone .
The flight is operated by Emirates’ latest A380 aircraft, which is equipped with the airline’s new premium economy class seats and refurbished cabin interiors in each cabin. First class and business class passengers can communicate and communicate safely in the iconic A380 in-flight lounge, where I spend most of my time!
Before departure, passengers use the latest biometric technology to check in for a seamless journey across multiple touch points. We can also experience the first class and business class lounges at Dubai International Airport.
All EK2021 passengers including me have undergone a rapid COVID-19 PCR test before check-in. After the completion, we received the green “opt-in inoculation” pin and took photos to commemorate this special moment. All EK2021 customers who pass the immigration office will also receive a customized “opt-in vaccinations” stamp on each boarding pass as an additional souvenir. After the flight, we also received a commemorative certificate for participating in the program.
All proceeds of EK2021 have been donated to Emirates Airline Foundation; The airline’s non-profit charity organization supports projects around the world aimed at improving the quality of life of disadvantaged children in the world.
I have to admit that it is difficult to travel as a passenger after being laid off, but it is helpful to let a few of my friends operate this flight. It was great to be in the sky again, I hope to be back soon!
