Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi’s new menu is a refined journey through French flavors

Fouquet’s is a well-known Parisian institution and since its arrival in Abu Dhabi, the restaurant inside the Louvre Abu Dhabi has become a staple of the city’s dining scene.An ambassador of European cuisine, it infuses a range of dishes with refined French flavors that are so delicious that they are sold out on multiple occasions what is on awards.

This season in particular, Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi restaurant has launched a menu inspired by the elegant bistros that line the snowy streets of Paris in winter.

Created in collaboration with culinary guru Pierre Gagnaire, the gastronomic brain behind the original Fouquet’s Paris, the enhanced winter menu is an idyllic flight of French winter classics. Crafted by the company’s Executive Chef Balveer Balkisoon and his team of experts, exceptional quality flows throughout the menu of heartwarming recipes, with mouth-watering new additions to appetizers, main courses and desserts.

Delightful new entrees include comforting lentil soup, cumin and poached eggs, traditional specialties such as French frog legs and homemade pate, and beautifully plated sea bream carpaccio.

Meanwhile, entrees invite diners to explore reimagined classics sure to keep their spirits up through the winter, with light sea bass in a white butter sauce and seared sea scallops with breadcrumbs, parmesan and pears among standout new additions. Seafood selection. Then there’s the hearty goulash, a staple of the Provençal diet and not to be missed as the temperature drops.

As always, guests are encouraged to end their experience with a hearty plate of artisanal French cheeses or a gourmet photo-worthy dessert from Chef Hugo Sipp. New offerings include trendy dacquarie stones with pralines, chic Parisian-coated brioche with cinnamon ice cream, and Belle Helene poached pears with vanilla ice cream. Then there’s the tantalizing dessert trolley, whose freshly baked array adds further temptation, making it hard to resist even those without a sweet tooth.

This stunning new menu is complemented by a selection of beverages in a setting inspired by the lounges frequented by A-Listers of Hollywood’s Golden Age, ensuring every meal is memorable and special.
