According to a statement by the UP government, the state has signed six MoUs worth Rs 1,859 crore with six companies in the United Arab Emirates.
This comes ahead of the Global Investor Summit to be held in Lucknow in February.
The agreement will create more than 20,000 new jobs, the statement said.
Astha Green Energy Venture will invest Rs 4,480 crore in renewable energy and will create 2,560 new jobs, while Shree Siddharth Infratech & Services will invest Rs 8,000 crore to create 4,800 new jobs.
In the area of ​​logistics parks, Sharaf Group and Hindustan Port will also invest. According to the statement, the investment will amount to Rs 1,300 crore and Rs 2.1 billion, respectively, and provide 1,500 and 1,000 job opportunities.
