NNA – The United Arab Emirates will host the two-day 46th Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference in Abu Dhabi next Monday.
Police and security chiefs and senior security officials from Arab countries will participate, along with representatives of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, INTERPOL, UN Office of Counter-Terrorism – Terrorism, UNODC, African Union Police Cooperation Mechanism, European Law Enforcement Training Institute, European Commission Counter-Terrorism and Criminal Justice Project, Naif Arab University of Security Sciences and Federation of Arab Police Movements.
The meeting will discuss some important topics on its agenda, including: the crime of money laundering, the importance of the role played by the official security spokesperson, the recommendations of the meeting of the heads of the security services and the committee meeting held within the framework of the General Secretariat During 2022, the Arab Police Sports Federation 2022 report and will review some outstanding security experiences from some member states.
In addition, the meeting will consider the draft Arab Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking and Human Organ Crimes, prepared by a special committee convened earlier this year within the framework of the General Secretariat.
