Ashley Olsen’s wedding was a “perfect” day.
The 36-year-old star tied the knot with artist Louis Eisner in a secret ceremony just days after Christmas, and now an inside source says the ceremony was a “small affair” but she is with family and her family “Very close” twin sister Mary Kate and sister Elizabeth, 33, are said to have attended the wedding.
The source told PEOPLE: “It was a small thing. She was very close with her family. Louise was very close with his family and they were in attendance. It was the perfect celebration for them. They never wanted A grand wedding.”
The “New York Minute” star – who rose to fame as a child appearing in a string of family films and sitcoms alongside Mary-Kate – retired from acting to pursue a second career as a fashion designer with her twin sister – began dating Louis, 34, in 2017 and reportedly married him on Dec. 28 at a property in Bel Air, California.
Speaking of the ceremony, an insider said a few days after the event: “A total of 50 or so people were late.”
The pair have been very private and haven’t spoken about their relationship, but the former “Made in Heaven” actress initially sparked speculation that she would wed in 2019 after she was spotted wearing diamond jewelry on her ring finger and married in 2019.
