A new smart app has been launched in Abu Dhabi that allows residents to report any financial or administrative misconduct that may be attributable to public funds and resources so that it can be investigated and prevented from happening.

The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) on Monday launched its new smart app, which offers several features, most notably the ‘Wajib’ platform, which allows individuals to report possible damage to public funds and resources. Any financial or administrative misconduct. The app can be used not only for investigations but also to prevent them from happening, encouraging a sense of shared responsibility and promoting a culture of awareness in Abu Dhabi regarding the protection of public resources.

ADAA added that it develops its digital platform according to the highest global standards of quality and information security. It leverages the latest artificial intelligence technologies and the best use of data while maintaining user confidentiality and privacy – designed to promote the value of accountability while increasing integrity and awareness among government employees and individuals. In turn, this aims to enhance the emirate’s reputation and enhance trust in its financial and economic systems.

The ADAA Smart app, available for download from Google Play and the Apple Store, provides residents with convenient and easy access to ADAA’s programs and platforms – including the Wajib platform and statutory auditors platform, as well as the financial disclosure platform for senior government employees.

Commenting on the launch, an ADAA spokesperson said that the digital transformation process reflects the authority’s vision to protect public funds and that the creation of the ADAA Smart App is in line with the theme of Abu Dhabi’s Digital Agenda

  • Government services
  • How to leverage and benefit from digital channels
  • Government solutions to support joint digital transformation initiatives between Abu Dhabi government entities
  • Utilize artificial intelligence systems
  • Strengthen the active role of the Emirate in many areas, including achieving high levels of integrity and transparency.

ADAA calls on all Abu Dhabi Government employees and community members to download the app and explore ADAA’s initiatives and platforms in line with its strategy to optimize and maintain public resources.
