Maristo signs franchise with German Doner Kebab

Maristo Hospitality, a growing hospitality group, has seen new growth in the UAE with its nine fast-casual brand of German kebab restaurants.

The group will lead the fast food chain’s operations while expanding into new outlets. A formal agreement was signed in December 2022, cementing Maristo Hospitality’s position as the brand’s master franchisee in the region.

The signing ceremony was attended by GDK International Group CEO Imran Sayeed and Maristo Hospitality CEO Gaurav Arora.

Since 2021, Maristo Hospitality has established a footprint in QSR, Dark Kitchen and Casual Dining. As master franchisee, Maristo Hospitality will take over nine German kebab restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with a commitment to expand to 25 locations over the next few years, including brick-and-mortar stores and cloud kitchens.

German Doner Kebab operates an open kitchen concept in all restaurants and prides itself on its relentless commitment to quality, from premium lean meats imported from Germany to unique signature sauces made daily in-house. Maristo Hospitality will also divert sourcing of key ingredients such as Turkish-style bread and fresh vegetables from suppliers in Dubai to ensure their unique flavor and prized quality are preserved.
