UAE: Young executives from the region share their experiences in leadership programs – News

Participants in the Young Executive Leadership Program are sharing knowledge about their culture, expertise and ecosystem as this will help them build strong bonds for future collaborations through virtual meetings.

Led by Emirates-Illinois Tech District, Birthright Excel and Young Executives Forum, and supported by the Aviram Foundation, the T3 Leadership Program brings together 40 executives aged 28-35 from venture capital, Technology, healthcare and diplomacy.

The event ends on January 15th, with physical gatherings taking place in the UAE from January 12th to 15th.

Highlights for the participants were the ability to learn from Ziv Aviram, co-founder and co-CEO of OrCam Technologies, founder of Mobileye, and Mohamed Al Khaja, UAE Ambassador to Israel.

The Aviram Foundation is no stranger to the UAE or Israel. It launched a prize competition across the MENA region to enable future entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life.

Last year’s awards ceremony was held in the UAE, with winners from Jordan and Israel. The grand prize for the winner is $500,000.

The T3 alumni network will come together annually to share their work and gather cutting-edge ideas and connections to continue building a strong Middle East.

Most of the participants will be in the UAE for the first time in January. For the first time, UAE participants as well as prominent business leaders and civil servants will also attend the Shabbat Dinner, furthering cultural understanding.

Iditi Rubin, Director, Birthright Excel, said: “The goal of our T3 leadership program is to develop and sustain strong young leadership, united in fostering lasting and sustainable relationships in the region through education, cultural exchange and diplomacy. According to Noa Gastfreund, co-founder of the UAE-IL Tech Zone, the program is becoming a true vehicle for peace: a triangular exchange that brings together the Global Excel and Young Executive Forum and the Tech Zone community, as well as the UAE, US and Israel. With successful entrepreneurs in technology and diplomacy as mentors, these collaborations are exactly what the region needs, so a new generation of leaders can break down common barriers we face today.

Attendees looking forward to face-to-face meetings

ADGM Senior Legal Specialist Meitha AlNoori (UAE) found that the T3 Leadership Program helped her recognize the curiosity of people abroad about Emirati culture and the Emirati way of life. She looks forward to the face-to-face meeting and hopes it will lead to a long-lasting friendship.

Oz Reshef (Israel) is the founder and CEO of Pathos, a stealth-mode start-up who is passionate about building strong bonds for future collaborations by interacting with other Take advantage of partnership opportunities to actively seek out partnership opportunities that the program offers.

Dr. Abdulla Al Shimmari (UAE), Founder CEO of HCMS.ai and Co-Founder and CVO of RestHero.io joined the program to meet individuals working in the world’s leading ecosystems. He’s learning from experts on their journeys, the obstacles they faced, and the strategies they’ve adopted in different industries. A true UAE champion, Dr Abdullah has already started working with Israeli partners in the field of data science.

Monica Sager (USA), Customer Success Strategy and Operations, LinkedIn was keen to hold a physical meetup in January to deepen initial relationships formed through remote Zoom meetings and explore Dubai’s culture for the first time.

Hadar Houri (Israel), Vice President of Marketing at HopOn, found it very rewarding to meet with top business leaders and learn from their experiences and insights as they are experts in their field.
