New Delhi [India]Jan 13 (ANI): Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said the global south needs to forge new partnerships and mechanisms to have its voice reflected in the decision-making table.

“We need new partnerships and mechanisms to bring the voice of the global south to the decision table,” Goyal told a meeting of commerce and trade ministers at the global south summit.

Ministers from 13 countries joined Goyal in a session on the theme ‘Developing Synergies in the Global South: Trade, Technology, Tourism, Resources’.
