The Mohamed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) released an image taken from space by the Khalifa Satellite of the United Arab Emirates.
The Al Wasl dome and the various pavilions of the Expo can be seen in the image. The Al Wasl dome is the largest 360-degree projection surface in the world.
“There is still one month before the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai. This photo was taken from space by #KhalifaSat and shows the locations of global cultural events that will bring together 191 countries in the UAE,” MBRSC released on Wednesday.
Earlier today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared a photo of him while visiting the Expo 2020 site.
These photos show how the site’s infrastructure is now completed.
Sheikh Mohamed said that the National Pavilion is ready for the biggest global event since the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I am optimistic about hosting the most beautiful and greatest event in the world,” he wrote on Twitter.
Starting on October 1, the six-month global expo is expected to attract 25 million visitors.
