Prime Minister Sheikh Baz Sharif on Friday urged members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to visit Pakistan to experience a “fantastic” opportunity to grow their business.
Bilateral trade between Pakistan and the UAE has seen a significant increase recently, the Prime Minister said when meeting a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce during his two-day visit to the UAE.
The delegation was led by Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking to the delegation, the Prime Minister said that the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, which also has Pakistani members, plays an important role in the UAE’s economic development.
He is delighted that one of the Pakistani businessmen is on the board of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, which shows that the Pakistani community plays an important role in the development of the UAE.
Prime Minister Sharif said that the vision and wisdom of its leadership has made the UAE an economic and tourism hub in a short period of time.
He said Pakistan values ​​its relationship with the UAE, which is based on shared beliefs, shared history and people-to-people exchanges.
“We consider the UAE to be an important strategic and economic partner, located in a neighboring country, playing an important role in ensuring peace, stability and economic development in the region, with the potential for mutual socio-economic development,” the prime minister said.
He stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between chambers of commerce and urged the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce to link up with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and establish new links. Prime Minister Sheikh Baz said sending skilled labor to the UAE is one of his government’s top priorities.
Members of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce expressed interest in doing business and investing in Pakistan.
