Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China launches its first global unicorn program

Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) is launching the Global Unicorn Programme, a series of executive education programs aimed at building an ecosystem of unicorns and socially responsible entrepreneurs.

In partnership with the UAE World Government Summit, Dubai Executive Council, Whampoa Group, Seoul Metropolitan Government and Maekyung Media Group, the projects will take place in Dubai, UAE (15-17 February) and Singapore (16-19 May ) and Seoul, South Korea (September 12-15), each location offers a unique perspective on three dynamic and technology-driven markets.

Founders or co-founders of companies that have raised at least Series A funding and aspire to become unicorns; senior leaders from leading venture capital, private equity firms, and other investment entities such as corporate venture capital or family offices Candidates; executives of established businesses looking to invest in promising companies; senior government officials, NGO executives or public representatives seeking to strengthen the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem; can join the program.

The program offers unparalleled regional knowledge from the GCC, RCEP and East Asia; leverages the power of exponential technologies such as Web 3.0, blockchain, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence; builds its own regional ecosystem with like-minded leaders; and creates Entrepreneurship Center to accelerate business growth in the region.

Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business will launch its first Global Unicorn Program in Dubai on February 15 at the Global Unicorn Forum, co-hosted with the World Government Summit (WGS) and the Global Unicorn Centre, to coincide with the exclusive WGS.

This 3-day program will give you an in-depth look at Dubai, gaining unparalleled regional knowledge, first-hand technology-driven business practices and mentorship, and the possibility to build a regional ecosystem by networking with like-minded entrepreneurs, investors and officials . Scholarships are available to eligible applicants.

Highlights of the Dubai Unicorn Program include more than 10 founders/CEOs of global unicorn companies; more than 10 top PE/VC investment companies participating in roadshows; 20 Chinese CEOs/investors; top thought leaders and scholars teaching courses , including former Chief Strategy Officer of JD.com, top professor of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, and former chair professor of Wharton Business School; 10 senior UAE government officials; and one-on-one introductions with influential global venture capital firms and corporate venture capital firms and web conferencing. — trade arab news agency
