Brand Dubai, the creative arm of Dubai Media Office, in partnership with Dubai Culture, has released a guide offering a comprehensive mix of entertainment, culinary, arts, cultural and retail experiences in the Al Quoz creative district list.
Al Quoz Creative Zone is an integrated creative industry cluster that aims to transform the community that has grown organically in the Al Quoz area over the past few years into an integrated creative business ecosystem.
Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Dubai Culture, said: “Dubai Culture is committed to providing artists and other creative talent with a comprehensive infrastructure to live, work and showcase their products, as part of a wider framework to develop Dubai’s cultural and creative industry.”
Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi said that as part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign, Dubai Culture, in partnership with Brand Dubai, has developed the Al Quoz Creative District Guide’ which will raise awareness of events and activities in the Al Quoz Creative District.
“With a number of facilities designed to provide visitors with unique experiences inspired by the region’s culture, the project creates a new model for building creative districts. The potential of Al Quoz Creative District highlights the strength of Dubai’s creative economy,” she added.

The guide includes a number of local businesses that are part of the ‘Dubai Pride’ network, an initiative by Brand Dubai to highlight the success stories of businesses born and launched in Dubai. The Proud From Dubai network features innovative and creative businesses shaping Dubai’s emerging business and entrepreneurial culture.
The guide lists the many galleries and studios located on Al Serkal Avenue, the center of Dubai’s vibrant art scene within the Al Quoz creative district, including Ayyam Gallery, The Third Line, Green Art Gallery and Picasso Art Gallery . Visitors to these galleries can explore various types of local, regional and international art from traditional to contemporary.
Al Quoz Creative District is a place where people can tap into their inner artist through a variety of creative activities. The workshops in the guide provide community spaces for people to join like-minded enthusiasts in hobbies that nourish their soul, including painting, pottery, sculpture, ceramic art, music, dance, woodworking and baking.
In addition to immersing themselves in art and culture, the new guide allows people to sample the culinary creations and explore the trendy boutiques of the destination’s many Instagrammable restaurants and cafés.
Area entertainment attractions listed in the guide include Akil Cinemas, the GCC’s first independent cinema, and the Hungarian Games, which offer a unique indoor ‘escape game’. The guide also describes a range of activities and recreational experiences for children, including play areas and multisport fields, as well as gyms and sports facilities that challenge people to improve their fitness levels.
Al Quoz Creative Zone is an integrated creative community offering business support services and a supportive ecosystem designed to encourage creative entrepreneurship and help the industry increase its contribution to Dubai’s GDP.
The new guide is part of the latest #DubaiDestinations winter campaign, highlighting the sights and experiences that make Dubai the world’s destination of choice this season.
Running until February 2023, the partnership encourages residents and visitors to explore Dubai’s diverse range of leisure, dining, adventure and family-friendly activities that make the city a unique winter destination.
